Go to the screw
elevator. Go to the Dock. Get back to Yggdrasil. Go
to the Yggdrasil's bridge. Save your game at the
nearby memory cube.
Talk to Sigurd.
Choose 'Leave Thames.' Look at the map on the lower
right of the screen. The red thing is your vision and
the bright yellow dots are places where you may go.
About /NORTH\ of where you are is a yellow dot. That
is the Ethos HQ. On your [right] is another yellow
dot and that's the Orphanage.
Go to up straight to
the Ethos HQ. Use the R1 and L1 button to maneuver
Yggdrasil II.
TIPS
ON ENEMIES
Airwalk
-- They slow moving
airborne gears. Earth-based ether attacks most
probably won't harm them. Later it will be you
who will have missed attacks (speeding up!). Not
difficult to defeat.
Death
Scythe --
can cause 200+ HP damage! Citan won't have any
problem of causing damage to this thing. Use
Elly's Wind or Fire-based attacks.
Wels --
as long as you're in your gears this enemy will
be easy to defeat.
To get to the HQ, go
around the island until you see an area with sand.
Once you're in the sand, press <C> to get out
of Yggdrasil. Once inside the Ethos H.Q. walk
straight ahead and Billy will talk to you.
Follow Billy by
going through the door on the /NORTH\. Talk to Billy
and go through the door. He will tell you which door
to go through. Go down the stairs. Walk /EAST\.
You'll find Billy standing in the /SOUTH\. Talk to
him.
You need to kill
some time. In short, this game wants you to
familiarize with the place first because you will be
back again at this place SOON. Leave the room. Go up
again through the /SOUTH\ doorway. Go up the stairs.
Go to the next room on the /WEST\ of the doorway you
exited. Talk to Verlaine. Leave the room. Hmm, how
about that door on the /NORTH\. Get inside and you'll
see a staircase. Go up. Turn /EAST\ and keep on
walking. Once your get through the door, you'll find
yourself in a corridor. Get in each of the rooms and
talk to the people there. After that, get back to the
corridor and exit through the door on the /WEST\. Go
through the doorway on the /NORTH\ wall. Go down the
staircase.
Go to the farthest
door on the /EAST\. Try going out of the H.Q. Retrace
your steps--go through the door with grills, turn
[left] and enter the door. Elly should come walking
towards you. Now that Elly's under your control, go
to the nearest door on the /SOUTH\ and enter it. Go
down the stairs. Walk /EAST\ and then /SOUTH\. A
sequence follows.
