Go to the /EAST\ doorway. Enter. On the end is a fixbot. You may tune up your gears if you want to. Go back. Walk /NORTH\. Go inside.

Do you remember your first fight with Vierge? As I've said, it was one of the most difficult battle sequence in the entire game. Hey, guess what? Coming up is the MOST difficult battle sequence of them all!

What is needed is careful planning. First, a good, efficiently equipped team is needed. I recommend Fei, Maria and Rico. Make sure that all of them have fix frame 30. Not more, not less. To much fix frame hp (like 50 and 90%) will consume a lot of fuel. A 10% fix frame HP is just not enough. Equip yourself with TWO ether ar +3 (available at the fix bot at the other room). Knowing the capabilities of each gear and character is important. In my saved game, Steir and Siebzehn are not capable of infinity attacks. Steir in my saved games can only reach attack level 1 while Seibzehn only up to level 2. So when they reach their respective levels (maximum in my saved game) I do the deathblow attacks. Fei meanwhile can reach infinity level so I do not execute any deathblow until I reach the infinity level. To tell you the truth, I was defeated my first battle with these two. But in my second one, after discovering Miang's gear will cause great ether damage (so I prepared my gears with a lot of ether armors), I really didn't have a problem. I think the battle with Vierge for the first time is more difficult because there are less options--less gear parts, weapons, and party members to choose from.

BOSS FIGHT
AMPHYSVENA
30,000 HP
His first attack will be Wave#3 Demiser which turns all the HP of your gears to 1. DO NOT USE ANY DEATHBLOWS first. I don't recommend that you do a System Id. You need to save your fuel. Hopefully all your members are capable of reaching infinity level deathblow... If not, use the most powerful deathblow you have. Make sure you have at least 5800 HPs left after you defeat him.

BOSS FIGHT
OPHIOMORPH
25,000 HP
Her attacks are very powerful so you'll end up curing yourself most of the time. You'll notice that you're fuel and HP are not restore. She lauches a Wave #4 which is an ether attack. If you equipped yourself with 2 ether armors, the 6,000 damage caused by this ether attack will drop to 2,000 but sometimes it goes up to 4,000. This is a very very significant decrease and this might help you win the battle.

Here's something VERY useful when fighting Ophiomorph after AMPHYSVENA.  If equipment is just right, meaning 60/25 armor and 2 ether ar +3 giving  all three gears about >600 ether def, and use 50/6600 engine, after defeating amphysvena, here is what you do to guarantee a very easy win.... Keep on charging all of your gears, and continue to do so after Ophiomorph did three of those Wave #4. at this point, the attack will not damage your gears at all, and after each Wave#4, her defense AND ether attack level decrease. after three of such attacks, use System Id and
only use Fei and his Infinity attacks. repeat this ENTIRE sequence after the Id effect stops. (meaning wait for her to attack at least twice, otherwise, her Wave #4 will damage your gears!) hope ya find this little tip useful.

Here's how I beat Miang.  By the way, I followed your suggestion about using 2 ether armors...but I found something pretty interesting.  At the start of your fight, have 1 character attack her.  One attack and one attack only!!  After your hit she responds by raising her DEF and ETH ATTACK.  Now the normal thing to do is to keep attacking her, but all this does is raise her DEF and ETH ATTACK more and more until she does great damage with her wave 4.  But if you just hit her just once, her wave 4 attack is so weak that it doesn't damage your gears at all!  After her DEF and ETH ATTACK goes back to normal, hit her again and wait (charge) again.  I know it is a long and tedious way to beat Miang, but it's less risky.

Later on, you'll regain enough fuel to Fix Frame HP so that when she does go all out (ETH ATK rises up) you can engage her head on with little worry.  You can also speed things up a little bit by timing your attack (in your gear at attack level 3) right before she fires so that when she settles down again you can nail her with an infinity attack.  Remember, I've only tried this using 2 ether armors for each gear, I don't know if the results are the same or not if equipped differently.
