BACK TO THE
WORLD MAP
Retrace your steps--walk /WEST\ then
/SOUTH\. Exit the current map you are in by going to
the red triangle at the /SOUTH\. You'll find yourself
back to the world map. Turn [right]. Remember that
you can save from any place on the world map.
TIPS ON ENEMIES
Pecking
duck
-- even in your gears,
this flying violet thing can cause almost 100 HP
damage. A single <X> attack will kill this
bird.
Rhino --
can cause a considerable amount of damage to your
party members. He heals through the blue bird
perched on his back. Use your powerful
deathblows--this guy heals by 100 HPs at a time.
By the mountains,
you'll see a bunch of trees. Go towards it. You can
get on your gear by pressing the R1 and L1 buttons
together. But with the gears, you can't get through
the trees so press those two buttons again to get out
of your gears. Don't worry, you'll be bringing those
gears with you automatically. After crossing the
trees, press R1 and L1 buttons simultaneously. Keep
on walking at edge of the island by the sea. At the
back of the mountain at the /NORTH\ of the island is
a vault-like door. You'll see the words 'Goliath
Factory.' Press <X> to enter the place.
GOLIATH
FACTORY
The first turn should lead to /NORTH\. Go
there and keep on walking. The next turn will you
/WEST\ then /SOUTH\ then /WEST\. Turn /NORTH\ and
you'll see a clumsy-looking gear. Talk to it.
Change your party
members if you wish, however, I recommend that you
have Rico instead of Elly in your party. Tune up your
gears. There might be some things Hammer might be
selling which you might find useful (better engine or
better frame or better armor maybe). Last but not the
least, restore your Fuel and HP. There is a closed
door /NORTH\ of Hammer. Examine it.
Jump over the crates
/NORTH\ of you. You'll have to fight the gears which
get into your way.
TIPS ON ENEMIES
HarquebusMk10 --
concentrate on one gear at a time and use your
gear's deathblows.
Hatamoto
Mk3
-- sometimes it comes with
mechanics so eliminate the mechanics first
because they can cure Hatamoto Mk3 by 160 HPs per
turn. Use <S> attacks on mechanics because
they're not easily killed by <T> attacks
even if they're small.
NeoMushamMk100
-- concentrate on one gear at a time. Like the
name says (100), they can cause 100 damage per
attack.
At the end of the
way is another door. Enter it. Walk /NORTH\. Keep on
walking, going by the turns of the way. At the first
intersection, you'll find a memory cube on the
/SOUTH\. Save your game!
From
the memory cube, walk back /NORTH\. Turn /WEST\ and
keep on walking until you reach the end. At the end,
you can either turn [right] or [left]. Turn [left]
(/EAST\) first. You'll get a 02 Cylinder in the
chest. Then turn back and head /WEST\. Keep on
walking until you reach a door. Open it.
You're in a room
full of crates again. Walk /NORTH\. You might be
annoyed by the number of fights here but remember
that you're gaining experience and learning
deathblows :)
When you reach the
end you'll notice an elevated platform. It's an
elevator! Jump on to it. You'll be brought to the
next room thanks to the moving floor. Go down and
head to the /EAST\ part of the room. Turn on the
switch. Get on the elevator again. Head /EAST\.
At the end, go down
the room again and turn on the switch on the /NORTH\
wall. Turn on the switch on the /EAST\ wall as well.
There will be enemies coming out of large air duct.
Fight them. You need to turn on thei switch to make
one of the moving floors move.
There's another
switch in the /WEST\. Turn it on. Go up the elevator
up to the conveyor thing or whatever you call
them--moving floors or what. Head /SOUTH\. At the end
of the room is memory cube! Save your game coz a
tough enemy is coming up, next!
There's
a switch /SOUTH\ of the room. Switch it on! Head
/EAST\. You'll be carried to another room. Head
/WEST\.
BOSS
FIGHT |
FIS-6 |
6500 HP |
One of the
most difficult to beat, methinks Square made
this kind of enemy in the game to annoy us.
He overheats after some time. Then 4
mechanics will arrive and cure him and each
them can increase Fis-6's HP by 500 HP per
turn. Later they'll bonk you with their giant
wrenches which can cause 100+ damage. Keep on
sending him your most poweful attacks and
deathblows. |
Head
/WEST\ and enter the ship. A sequence follows. When
you get to control Fei, go to the memory cube and
save your game!
Talk
to Citan. Choose "I'll help." Talk to Elly.
Citan should say something by now. Go to Citan and
talk to him again. Choose "Yeah, let's go."
BOSS
FIGHT |
GRAF |
5000 HP (more or less) |
What the?
He has a super guided shot! Elly can cause a
lot of damage on him considering that Elly
usually has weak attacks. Rico might collapse
if you don't do the fix frame on him. He
won't attack Elly, we wonder why... |
After
the sequence, you'll be able to control Fei. Save the
game.
Talk
to Citan. A sequence follows. Walk /EAST\ and jump to
the other side. There is a square-shaped rumbling
thing to the [left]. Examine it. A sequence follows.
