Go up the stairs on
the /SOUTH\, get out through the door on the /WEST\.
Once out of the house, turn [left] then keep on
walking (turn in you have to) until you find yourself
back in the world map. Go back to that dome in the
map. Once inside, go to Hammer on the /SOUTH\. Tune
up your gear. For the engine, he'll sell you V12-2000
-- buy it! Now your fuel capacity's increased. The
for the frame, he'll sell you Welt-04300 -- buy it!
Don't forget the armor! Buy the best he has to offer
(in this case MS 15). Lastly, restore your fuel. Go
to the memory cube and save.
Get out of Hammer's
store and talk to the lady on the right. You'll be
fighting a battle. After the first battle of the day,
talk again to the lady on the right.

By this time you
should be familiar with the directions to get back to
your dorm and how to get back here to the arena. Okay
for the last time, I'm giving you the directions to
get back to the dorm.
Head /WEST\ to exit
the place. Once in the world map, go the green
triangle /NORTHWEST\ of the map. Walk /SOUTHWEST\
once inside. Turn a little bit to the [left]
(/SOUTH\). Walk straight, go down the stairs. Turn
[right], then [right] again. Go up the stairs and
before your reach the corner, turn [right] (/EAST\).
Near the door is the ladder. Go down the stairs on
the /NORTH\ side inside the house.
Save your game in
the memory cube. Rest by going to the space at the
side of the table in your room, /WEST\ of your room.
Go back to the batttling arena. Have you equipped
your gears with the best equipment you have? If not,
press the <S> button. Go to 'Gears' then
'Equip'. Change your Beam Coat into something more
appropriate for the coming battles like Extra Ar+3
and change the Extra Ar+1 with a higher one.
Now, talk to the
lady on the right again.

After the first
battle of the day, talk again to the lady on the
right to enter the day's final battle. Go back to
your dorm. Save your game then rest. You'll wake up
and a talk sequence will start.
THE SEWERS
You'll find yourself at the top of the
stairs after the sequence. Turn [left] (/WEST\) and
leave the house. Remember the ladder by the door? Go
up! Once you get to the roof, walk /NORTH\ then
/WEST\. You'll see a hole in the floor. Jump in!
From the same side
of the sewers, walk /WEST\ and don't forget to jump
over the water coming out from the wall. Walk /SOUTH\
then /SOUTHEAST\. Go to the end and open the chest.
TIPS ON ENEMIES
Armor
wasp -- For Fei, use
his Guided Shot chi while for Citan and Rico,
deathblows if they are capable of doing it,
otherwise a series of <X> attacks.
Acid
frog -- use
deathblows. This little thing can cause a lot of
damage so heal yourself after the battle. On the
next floor below, after you eliminate almost all
the frogs, another batch of acid frogs will
apear.
Batrat
-- Rico's Death Drive will
kill one of them and the other batrats will
probably kill you. These little devils are not
worth fighting. Escape! They will 'confuse' two
of your companions and kill the other. They will
kill Rico first because his combo will kill one
of them in one turn. Hopefully you listened to me
when I told you to buy Zetasols coz this devils
will keep on knocking out your companions.
Hobgobs
-- not like the hobgobs
you encountered in the forest for they have
higher HPs. Fight them anyway coz you'll always
get a hob jerky or if you're lukcy, a hob meat.
Lucre
bug -- Use Rico's
'Death Drive' to kill this.
Mullet --
hard to beat! Use Fei's Guided Shot while it's
still in the water. When it goes to the floor,
use deathblows. They're not worth fighting--I
suggest you escape if you encounter them.
Rotten
Sod -- has lots of
HPs and can cause damage, can counter attack, and
cause sleep. I suggest you use a combo (Rico or
Fei) on this one.
Not
all battles here in the sewers are 'forced
battles' so you can escape every now and then.
Walk back, back to
the ladder but don't go up. Near the ladder is a
bridge. Cross it. Walk to the /WEST\ until you reach
the end. Open the chest and voila! The Kislev
Map! Walk back and cross the nearest bridge.
Walk /EAST\, keep on walking until you reach a hole
in the wall with water coming out with green stuff at
the floor. Examine it. Walk further /SOUTH\, ignore
the bridge and you'll see blood on the walls and
floor. A short sequence follows.
Walk back to the
edge (ignore the bridges). You'll see a ladder going
down on the edge of the floor. Go down. Cross the
nearest bridge and turn /NORTH\. Keep on walking
until you see another bridge. Cross it again. Turn
/SOUTHEAST\ then walk. Keep on walking until you
reach a door. Open it.
Now you're on the
other side of the sewers. Press {SELECT} on your
gamepad and examine the map. At the middle is an
encircled part. You have to go there. Press {SELECT}
again to go back. Keep on walking, ignore the first
bridge. Cross the second bridge and turn [right] or
/SOUTHWEST\. Talk to the little green thing at the
the corner. This is the encirced part of the map.
After the talk, retrace your steps but don't cross
the bridge. Keep on walking until you see another
'hole in the wall with water coming out' with a green
stuff on the floor. Examine it.
Cross the bridge, go
/SOUTH\, keep on walking then cross the first bridge
you see. Turn /WEST\ and keep on walking. Cross the
bridge you see. Walk /WEST\ until you reach a murder
site. A sequence follows.
Go back, walk
/SOUTH\, cross the 1st bridge you see. Walk either
direction /WEST\ or /EAST\ and cross the first bridge
you see. Head /EAST\, cross the bridge and walk
/SOUTH\, pass by the little green man, keep on
walking ignoring bridges. You should come across
another murder scene. Walk back to the little green
man, cross the bridge, turn /EAST\, cross the next
bridge, walk /NORTH\ until you get to a door. Try
opening it.
GETTING THE
KEY
Go back to the little green man (the
encircled thing on the map, remember?). Talk to him.
Walk /NORTH\, keep on walking, cross the bridge, turn
[left], cross the bridge. Walk either way (left or
right), then cross the bridge. Turn [right] then go
down the ladder by the wall. Jump over the sign
blocking way. Cross the bridge and open the chest by
the wall. You'll get 'Cool Shades.' Let Rico wear
it--it prevents 'Confusion' caused by Batrats. There
is a Memory Cube at the /SOUTHEAST\ of the map. Go
there if you want to save your game. After saving
your game, head /NORTH\ and keep on walking until you
stumble upon a catless rat something. After the very
short sequence, examine it again.
OPENING THE
DOOR
Go back to the memory cube, cross the bridge
near it and walk /NORTH\. Keep on walking until you
come across another bridge. Cross it. Turn [right],
keep on walking. You'll see the door again. Open it.
On the other side of the sewers, walk, ignore the
first bridge, cross the second. Turn [right] and keep
on walking, cross the bridge near the little green
man. Turn [left] then walk a bit, cross the bridge.
Turn left, keep on walking until you get back to the
locked door again. Try opening the door again. Go to
the chest and open it.
Leave the room and
when you pass by the drain with the green stuff, a
sequence follows. Go back to the little green man.
(You may want to go back to the memory cube and save
your game because you'll be fighting another boss.
From the green man, walk /NORTH\ until you come
across a drain with green stuff. Examine it.
BOSS
FIGHT |
REDRUM |
4300 HP |
This enemy
is powerful. I hope you got the 'Cool Shades'
and let Rico wear it. Like the Batrats, he
can cause 'confusion' too. What's annoying
about him is that he can absorb your energy.
If you're not careful, he'll knock you out!
Make sure that Fei and Citan have lots of EPs
before the fight because you'll be healing
your party members every now and then.
Zetasols are important because he's got this
'Murder/Steal all HPs' attack. He uses a fire
elemental attack so a water element
spell might cause him a big damage. In your
party, only Citan seems to be able to have a
Water deathblow (Crystal Water, consuming 7
APs). When I played this part, Citan only had
Mufu (or Engetsu) as the most powerful
deathblow, consuming only 5 APs. I don't know
if it's possible to learn Crystal water at
this point in the game.
If a member
of your party gets hit with the 'Confuse'
attack, use Mentsol on him. If poisoned, use
Physisol.' Oh wait, Citan has an ether attack
called Suiseii which blocks fire attacks and
can be used with any character. Use if it you
have already learned that Ether attack.

After
the battle, there will a be another sequence. We
wonder, 'Is Citan an enemy?'
